With the world’s population steadily growing to an estimated 9 billion people in 2050, the question of whether or not we should focus on alternative food sources like legumes or seaweed becomes an increasingly important one.

Mark Post, professor at Maastricht University, favors a different approach: grown meat. Mark presented the world with the first fully lab-grown hamburger. And now he is moving on towards a steak with lab grown fat. We spoke with him and talked about the future of meat.
